Lillo Morreale is a musician and composer with experience in the field of contemporary/electronic music and film scoring.
In 2008, he founded the experimental rock project Antarte, where he worked for about 10 years as a guitarist, singer, and violinist. Later on, he became part of Good Morning Finch, with whom he recorded several albums that were toured across Italy. In 2016, he started composing for cinema, working on various short and feature films, some of which received prestigious recognition at the Venice Film Festival, Nastri d’Argento, and David di Donatello awards.
Since 2020, he is a founding member of Rapso APS, an association active in various art fields in Bologna. In the same year, he staged ‘Habitans,’ an art performance created in collaboration with Cristian Mezzo. In 2023, after participating in the artistic residency “Collagene” promoted by DAS in Bologna, he began working with the PAL Visual Studio collective on the mixed digital-analog A/V performance titled ‘PAL50Hz.’ He has studied guitar, violin, and singing. On the technical side, he studied Sound Engineering at AreaStudio in Agrigento, Film Music at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, and Sound Production for Cinema and Audiovisual at Modulab in Bologna.
